So Speaks, She Who is Finding Voice...I, Green Tea Woman, Flying upon the Adrenalin High of Leaving Heaviness Behind, and as I Become the Creator of My Own Home

Upon a Foreign Ground and Far Removed from My Childhood Land.  I, Green Tea Woman, in the Making of a House into My Own Home Have Become: Dismantler of Chimney Pipes, Conhecido de Cemento, Destroyer of Old Poultry Cages, One Who has Battled and Made Peace with Vidroplastico. Green Tea Woman, Mother and Teacher to

Small Children, Teenagers and Sometimes Even Adults. Conscious Guide to Willing and Unwilling Alike. Maker, Doer, Planner, Pusher, Shover, Trickster and only Occasionally Massively Berserk In and Amongst All of This. When Too Tired to Do More than Sit in My Bay Window and Sip Green Tea and Read Good Poems, Selected and Introduced by Garrison Kellor: There. The Words Began to Flow.  And They Found Not the Focus of Tiredness, Hurt, Frustration and Loneliness All of Which Green Tea Woman has Felt, and Sometimes so Very Intensely. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jude Tripp is just one of the many manifestations of you.  A variation who discovered her inner Green Tea Woman while using poetry to work with the big things in her life as a newly separated, foreign woman and mother supporting herself in the countryside of

central Portugal.  The poems presented here were written during the years she and her

children lived in 'The Rose House', 2007 and 2013. (The house is currently looking for a new owner, preferably one with a heartful of love and adventure.)
